chevy volt from GM amazingly uncovers true cause of family problems in America

A Chevy Volt press release uncovered the truth about why families don't eat together, and why divorce rates are so high. The society against public eating read a press release by GM about the chevy volt. We thank GM for bringing the truth to our attention, which we share with you now.

The truth that GM uncovered is that most people in America, don't commute to work long distances, nor do the rest of the family travel more than 40 miles in a single day.

According to U.S. Department of Transportation data, nearly eight of 10 Americans commute fewer than 40 miles a day http://tinyurl.com/U-S-DOTStudy .

If this is the truth, as reported and studied by United States Department of Transportation, that GM uncovered, than the destruction of the family is not because of long commutes to work, but because of fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic, and other restaurants that people choose to eat at, instead of spending more time eating with their family.

Along with public eating away from your family, there are many more excuses that are causing the destruction of your family. Children turn to drugs and alcohol much more frequently, when they don't get the love and attention from parents.

There now appears to be evidence, that parents have been avoiding their children and spouses have been avoiding each other, for personal and selfish reasons, which they think will bring more happiness in their home. The reality is that your family needs you more at home, then out.

Now that we have proof of the lies that families tell each other, maybe you can change your lifestyle to actually spend more time with your children and with your spouse. The society against public eating recommends that you start today, by having a family dinner.

The Volt, which is scheduled to start production in late 2010 as a 2011 model, is expected to travel up to 40 miles on electricity from a single battery charge and be able to extend its overall range to more than 300 miles with its flex fuel-powered engine-generator.

"From the data we've seen, many Chevy Volt drivers may be able to be in pure electric mode on a daily basis without having to use any gas," said GM Chief Executive Officer Fritz Henderson.

Meet the inlaws at a family dinner

Meet the in-laws by inviting them to a family dinner. While your invite might not turn sour like this one featuring bernie mack, the late and great comedian, it could be a chance to discuss family values.

No romance before finance, and how does the young man expect to support a family without a good job? This is a valid question that may postpone a wedding, but very important to a proper family.

what are your family dining experiences like?

Family Meal Tricks - Free videos are just a click away

While the most important custom the society against public eating cares about is the family eating together as a family. The experiences people have may be very different.

What is your family dining together experience like?

why do african americans care more about family dinners than caucasions?

While african americans like eddie murphy and tyler perry, enjoy making fun of family gatherings like the video clip from the klumps, the society against public eating has taken note that the customs of family gatherings and family meals are much more important to african americans than to caucasions in american society.

While african americans have just as high a divorce rate, and maybe even a higher percentage of children turning to drugs and alcohol addiction than caucasians, they value family life much more, and in every movie, story and pictures it is evident how important the entire family is from grand parents, parents, children and babies and their relatives.

why we are against mcdonalds and burger king

How far have we come from this family dinner of the 50's?

How are divorce rates related to fast food?
While the current world is filled with fast food restaurants like mcdonalds, burger king, wendy's, carls junior, in and out, this is a key reason of the high divorce rates, and the destruction of the family.

If a parent or a family member eats out, instead of eating together as part of a family, the family as we know it, is utterly dsestroyed.

The society against eating in public wants to return to the customs of the family eating together, and is not against fast food restaurants.

How long should a family meal last?

How long should a meal last with your family?

A meal with your family should last at least 30 minutes. If the family meal is just your spouse, you must still take the time to talk about the day. We have found, that time spent with family is required to keeping a healthy family life.

If you can't spend time with your spouse daily, you should not be married.

What are the rules of a family eating together?

The rules of a family eating together are as follows:

1. What not to bring to the table: (anti-social and rude)

a. Put away all cell phones and text messages, ipods, iphones, music devices
b. No Newspaper reading

2. No watching TV at dining table

3. recommended conversation while eating with your family:
While we don't advocate telling you what you can and cannot say or do at the dining table, we can make recommendations that will help keep your family together.

a. Don't belittle your children, or discipline them at the table with a future punishment.
b. Don't speak disrespectfully to your spouse. This is not the place for tuf love or harsh criticism.

By creating an environment where the most important person is your family, you show warmth, caring and loving. Don't ruin the main reason you are with your family.

Appealing to Nascar loving familes

Nascar Drivers know the value of the family eating together, or its just the hollywood interpretation of what nascar loving people relate most to.

Even if hollywood likes to make fun of families eating together, it was beautiful to see the family together.

What if your parents commute long distances to work?

Commuting to work, especially long distances can destroy the family unit and for very little benefit in the long run.

Have you added up how much time is lost being away from your family, each and every day?

Most people do add up these lost hours commuting, and discover a large part of the day is wasted. You will never be able to get these wasted hours back!

Whether you sit in traffic or leave early enough to avoid traffic, that is time lost from your family. You will never be able to get these wasted hours back!

By making less money, living in areas not as nice as the farthest away place, and sacrificing to keep your family together, we have found that this is more important at the end of the day.

You cannot get the time back, when you have growing children. Its life decisions like these where we give the most support and help.

Can your work be done online?
Can you move closer to where you work?
Can you work in some other field or profession?

Commuting, forces people to eat away from family and in public. This is not an acceptable decision, when the number one priority in life is your family.

Does the society against public eating battle fast food chains?

The society against public eating, is not against mcdonalds, burger king, wendy's, carls jr., or any other fast food restaurants.

What we are against is the wrong choices made to spend less time around your loving family. By making the choice to eat out, instead of coming home to eat with your family, you distance yourself and make your family less important to your life.

How will you know how your children do in school, if they need help, if they have peer pressure? You won't if you avoid spending time with them.

How will you know how your spouse is? Did they have a bad day? Did they have a good day?
You won't if you avoid spending time with them.

The less time you spend away from your family, the more distant you become to them, this is exactly why divorce rates are so high, and why children are becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol at alarming rates.

We have nothing against fast food restaurants or eating out, except when it destroys families.

The society against public eating

Welcome to the society against public eating

The society against public eating, is about eating at home, keeping your family together, saving your marriage, saving your children from drugs and alcohol.

We believe that the family that eats together daily, can better embrace each other and keep the love and warmth that is required to stay together. There is no better closeness than eating together. This closeness was present at your wedding, the birth of your children, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and sabbath. Its a custom with a purpose. We have chosen to keep this purpose alive.
